I do not claim to be any kind of wine expert.  Every so often, however, I come across a winery that makes something so unique and yummy that I feel compelled to share.

La Clarine Farm is a husband-and-wife winery up in the Sierra-foothills boondocks.  They make organic, experimental wines out of grapes I've never heard of combined in ways that never have occurred to anyone before.  Result: The only wines I've ever had that snap me back to specific, vivid memories of contentment.  2014’s Priscilla, for example, is a Central Valley sunset that I watched from my rooftop when I was 22.
